If you have an iphone, you will like this tip. For some crazy reason they don’t have MMS capability built in to iphones, so you can’t send picture messages to other cell phones. Follow the link for a great work-around.

This is a really funny, horribly annoying virus that many are saying is the most evil computer virus in history. Here’s a tale from someone that received it…
“Well, i was surfing the net at college yesterday on my laptop, im allowed to use it in lessons to take notes etc. I shut it down after my free period and went to physics, switched my laptop on, and upon startup it started some EXTREEMLY annoying music
I looked at it, tried to put some headphones in (sadly my headphons jack appears to no longer be working) and my sound panel is blanked out, so i cant control the volume (MUTE IT!)
eventually i gave in that physics lesson and just used pen and paper.
so i got home and tried to mess about a bit with it, it appears to have a strange virus.
It plays “Miley Cyrus - See You Again” upon startup, each and every time, and just repeats at full volume, it wont accept headphones (just sees them as not there and continues to play)
I found miley.exe as a process, and im assuming thats what controlling it, but when i close it, its just reopens itself and starts playing again
anyone have any ideas? As i absolutly hate pop music, and this takes the buscuit”
I had more fun with this. If you have a Mac and Itunes, you can install this program that runs in the background. Whenever you want to see the lyrics you push the shortcut key they designated and you can instantly pull up the lyrics to nearly every song. If you have any questions about how it works, let me know. You have to do a couple quick things to configure the first time.

There has been a tremendous public outcry for the ability to reply to other users’ comments on this site (1 or 2 people said something). So I was able to add this feature. Here’s how it works: If you see a comment from another user that gets your goat, or you think you can outwit them, click the Reply button in the Grey Box of their comment and reply away.
Now, you will be able to engage other users in comments in a thread format. This is the first step for our community towards a real forum which will be here before you know it. Of course, you can still create your own new comment thread on each post by just typing in the big white “Leave a Reply” box at the bottom. if you have any questions, send me an email at kevin@hailofaday.com.
Let the witty banter begin!
I heard about this company called Little Miss Matched from Seth Godin’s blog. What a cool and innovative idea. Mismatching clothes, on purpose. The clothes like socks, for instance, come in a three pack and they are they are usually either complimentary colors or patterns, but neither sock is identical.
Apparently, teenage girls are going nuts over this, so you’re about to start seeing their stuff popping up all over the place as it’s an emerging trend that big retailers don’t want to get left behind on.
Knowing this, I wish that I had jumped on this trend in college when I was poor and fashion-brilliant. I wore mismatching clothes all the time. In fact, I could have started a company that sold underwear with holes in them. Hole-y Underwear. I certainly had enough inventory to get started.

I submit to you a look a like that occurred to me the other day. General Akbar of Star Wars fame and the hit rapper Lil’ Wayne.

This is one of the first of many planes that you’ll start to see that are geared towards a specific type of clientele…rich people who want to have a new thrill. Light Sports Aircraft (LSA’s) are planes that are “easier” to fly and they have safety features like parachutes in case the engine fails.
I gotta tell you, I’d want to fly this bad boy. They intended it to look like a sportscar. I think they did a pretty good job. Follow the link below to take a look at the interior pictures and a video of it.

The other day, some friends and I were reminiscing about the good old days of video games. Atari, Intellivision, and Nintendo. The next day I ran across an add-on for Firefox called FireNES. You’re not going to believe this, but it’s a built-in plugin for Firefox that allows you to play over 2500 Nintendo games for free on your computer. I played Excitebike, Super Techmo Bowl, and 1942. Unfotunately, they don’t have Mike Tyson’s Punch Out, which is a travesty. But this should keep you entertained for hours. If you’ve never installed an add-on to Firefox or don’t use firefox for a web browser you don’t know what you’re missing. Email me if you have any questions about it kevin@hailofaday.com

If you are frustrated with Evite as an online event invitation and event sharing site, then check out www.socializr.com . Apparently, it can integrate with your other social networking sites, such as Facebook and Myspace. Also, it allows you to integrate your own videos and photos from flickr and youtube.

There are an estimated 100 tribes in the world that have never had contact with the outside world. Can you believe the power of those words, “never had contact with the outside world?” I’ve attached a picture of one tribe that was recently documented, in Brazil, with a camera on a helicopter. I have a couple of observations:

1) They must be wondering what in the sam hill that big shiny bird thing is in the sky. If you’d never seen a helicopter or any other flying object, that would be quite a sight.
2) Why is one guy/girl Manute Bol-black and the other two look like they o.d.’ed on self-tan spray?

Any theories?
You should check these new features out. If you want to look at pictures of a specific location, this is available at times on the new google maps
