A friend posted a link on facebook to this page of edible monstrosities. I’m sick just looking at it. This was the worst of them all….

I have mixed feeling about this. It’s pretty awesome technology, but it appears equally frustrating. You’re basically tethered to this slow moving mini-boat. Still, it looks like you can shoot pretty high if you leave yourself some slack. A+ to the inventor for creating something that I have NEVER seen before.

This is a fascinating demographic breakdown per the four top social networking sites. I hate Linked In at this point, because it feels like a soul-less resume exchange. I was a little surprised to see such similar gender and age numbers between Facebook and Myspace. I guess I expected to see a more substantial number of visitors in the 35+ ranges in Facebook.

This looks more like a screen shot from the hit 80’s movie, Wargames. “Shall we play a game?” “No, Joshua, don’t fire a thermonuclear ballistic missile at Russia!!!”

This is a full scale, full-price avionics mockup used for software testing, with all components exact matches of what’s in the real Shuttles, down to all the wire lengths being the same. So this is what it really looks like with everything powered up.

This is an interesting list. I would agree with #1, but there are a few stinkers in there. I love Lord of the Rings, but Gollum? Come on. Who’s your favorite?
Here’s my very loosely decided top 5:
1) Vito Corleone
2) Han Solo
3) Rocky Balboa
4) Randle McMurphy (Jack Nicholson) - One flew over the cuckoo’s nest
5) Mini-me

If you’re really desperate for some drug money…or free funyons, reach out and grab whatever weapon you have handy. Yes, even if the weapon is a genuine Klingon sword. I think the amazing part of this story is that the workers so accurately identified the weapon. Maybe they rigged up their surveillance tv to pick up channel 39 for some good reruns of Star Trek. Follow the link below for the full story. Thanks for submitting this, Brian.

If you’re a fan of pancakes, you’re gonna flip out about this. It’s pancake batter in the form of a spray can, i.e. cheese-whiz. When my wife showed me this last night, I was speechless. Why is this invention just coming to light?
So I tried one this morning and it was fantastic. No more messy pancake bowls. It slices, it dices, it does your taxes. It is the answer to all your problems.
The only catch is that you can only find it at Sam’s, so you’ll have to buy a big enough lot of it to feed a Russian Infantry Brigade (or Nate Newton).

I’d buy one of these! By the way, this is just a concept by an independent designer, not affiliated with Apple. Too bad.
