What’s next?
In an effort to satisfy the consumer’s insatiable need for something new, 7-up released a new flavor. I actually tried it and liked it, but come on, pomegranate flavored? I’m recommending a few to see if they hit…Fish 7-Up, Monkey-Dander 7-Up, Hint-O-Leather 7-Up, etc.
On an unrelated note, does anyone remember the childhood game, 7-Up? It went…”heads up, 7-Up” and I’m a little fuzzy on the rest of it. Anway, that’s a great game and I’m wondering why it died by 6th grade.

Ask E how to play. Apparently they still teach that in school.

7up is played by choosing 7 people from the class.
Everyone else in the class lays their heads down with their thumbs up. The 7 people then sneak around the room and each touch someone’s thumb. When the 7 are finished the teacher usually says “Heads up, 7up” and the 7 folks at their desk now have to try to figure out who picked them.
If they chose right then they switch places with that person and get to pick next round. Easy but fun.

Thanks, Shannon. That filled in the gaps that my 5 years couldn’t quite explain to me. I remember this game vividly now. It was shrouded in intrigue and mystery.
