Water Spout in Italy
I always felt like these were straight-up tornadoes. People like to say, “oh, it’s just a water spout, no big deal”. Really, it looks pretty scary to me. A water spout is what you use to fill up your mop bucket.

Years ago I was in a restaurant on the seawall in Galveston. There was a great view of the ocean and the storm out over the water. I looked out and there were 4 water spouts not far away. Being from west Texas I started to panic but no one around me seemed to be worried. I settled back and ate my seafood wondering if I would soon be served some fresh fish by the storm.
